The Zalad Apology

At Zaxby’s, they call their salads — Zalads. And they take that very seriously.

So when we noticed a lot of people on social media were calling zalads the wrong thing, we wanted to go above and beyond to make things clear.

For a week we dedicated our social media to try to get a random guy named Cody’s attention. We did a social take over, showed up with bespoke out of home in his hometown and even took out a page in his local newspaper.

Eventually he apologized.

@Thecodybchronicals called the zalad a salad in a comment.

Then we asked Cody to recognize he called the product the wrong name.

But we got no response.

So for the next week we went completely rogue and showed up in Cody’s hometown in georgia. we showed up in the local newspaper, drove a truck around town, and even put up billboards downtown.

Eventually, cody publically apologized.
